So yummy

A Louisiana themed restaurant with a cook who has probably never been to New Orleans, and sad to say probably never eaten at Popeye's Fried Chicken either. The gumbo tasted like there was no File. The white rice was so plain I was craving some Popeye's red beans and rice or some Zatarain's dirty rice. The blackened catfish had a slightly sweet and slightly spicy flavor. We had a great meal. The peel eat shrimp starter was excellent. The crab cakes were great but we all agreed that the shrimp were better. Two of us had seafood creole and honestly it was very very good. The other entree our group ordered was the grilled shrimp and that also got a positive evaluation. We shared the mud pie which was plenty big for three. Highly recommend. Great service. Great... more
