I reeeeally don't get why people here seem to like the Blue Grotto so much. It's dark, dingy, and uninspired. In a bigger city, this would be the kind of bar that would have a poor reputation. This isn't the kind of place you dress up to go to. In fact, sometimes I feel overdressed in jeans and nice top. Unfortunately there aren't many places to go dancing in Kamloops so I end up here more... more

We stopped in late on a Saturday night and I was pleasantly surprised by the place. The band was good, it was easy to move around, mixed crowd, and a casual atmosphere.

Huge Fan of the The Blue Grotto!! Love the live music and the staff have always been super nice and the drink prices are not bad either. There is a smoking area for you smokers out there. Nice big dance floor to shake your booty.
