Such pretty birds

We went to this conservatory after we visited the VanDusen gardens, it's a short walk from one to the other. It cost about $6 each. All it is, is an artificial rainforest full of stunning birds. Gem in the Park

While visiting Queen Elizabeth Park, I happened upon the Bloedel Conservatory. What a beautiful little gem this is at the top of the park. It is worth every penny for admission. I thoroughly enjoyed the flora from around the world, as well as, the birds from Africa, Australia, etc. I especially loved seeing for the first time the little rainbow... more

Loved, all the birds. Would advise anyone visiting to walk around at least twice as you see different birds each time. There are feeding trays for the birds which give some great photo opportunities. The flowers are also great and you are given good information to use for identification for both the plants and the birds.A great place to visit,... more
