We arrived around 8pm on a Wednesday and there were only 4 other occupied tables. In contrast, we had eaten at Bonaparte on Monday at the same time and they were turning people away.

Our meal was fine and the service was fine. We both ordered the risotto and were surprised to find that it had clearly come from the same pot. I had ordered shrimp and mushroom - those were placed like a garnish... plus

I really need to write about this place because the service was unforgettably hilariously bad (***granted it was a year ago***).

Perhaps it was a particularly stressful night for our waiter, but he was generally very short with my group and curt to the point of rudeness. We felt rushed all the way through and each course wasn't coordinated to come at the same time for everyone. The best part... plus

One of my favorite restaurants. Very decently priced and always excellent. Great wine selection.
