Our Favourite Stop When Up Island
July 31, 2014Whenever we go to Parksville or beyond, we make it a point to stop in Qualicum to visit Bailey's. They serve Chapman's ice cream, which is our favourite and is the only place we've found that serves it (and most flavours are peanut free). The service is always friendly and we love the scenery. The prices are really reasonable, too.

Salty Soup
May 27, 2014I've eaten here a few times but have been mostly disappointed with the food. The soup was so salty I thought I might be ill after eating it. I tried it again on another occasion thinking perhaps I'd been served the dregs at the bottom of the pot but on the second try (many months later) it was equally salty.... more

Nice coffee shop
May 27, 2014Centrally located coffee shop in the town of Qualicum Beach. I'm not a coffee expert, but it always tastes good to me. Lots of goodies to go with your drink, and I believe they serve breakfast.
