Stayed here for 4 nights based on past Tripadvisor reviews and Auberge La Chatelaine did not disappoint.
The location is on the same street as Le Manoir Richelieu (half a kilometre), on the Chemin des Falaises, where the old summer mansions where built in the late 1800's.

Wow, that was a trip back in time. The house was built in 1872 and that 1872 atmosphere oozes from every pore. From the dining area/living room making you feel like the lady of the manor. To the bed room with canopy, water jug, sink with little curtains underneath, old pictures on the wall and more.

We stayed at La Chatelaine for 5 wonderful days. The house is a fabulous 120 year old mansion with exceptional location( a 5 minute walk to the best restaurants and the casino) and spectacular views of the st-lawrence river. This comfortable hotel is set in La Malbaie. With a small number of only 8, this accommodation is very convenient for a quiet stay. Auberge La Chatelaine is not a pet-friendly establishment.
