Customers_beware!!!!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ASHLEY FURNITURE ON THE WEST END 18715 STONEY PLAIN ROAD...BEWARE!!!!!
worst ever experience buying furniture to this store!!! we bought a complete set of furniture for my bedroom and was promised to be delivered to us at the end of august. we bought the furniture july 20 and was paid in full on july 30, trusting the word given to us by their manager that he even told us that he will steal some at ashley on the south side just to make our order complete and he even told us that most of the customer from ashley south side goes to him because of the poor service they are getting from ashley south..until august 30 comes, the furniture are not available due to some delay as they said, one of their sweet talking sales rep even told us that she was about to call us because to her surprised we showed up to the store. we were there to attend to other things. promised are made again that they will deliver the bedroom set to us on september 2. due to the need of having the furniture when we were told again that the delivery will be in the middle of september we decided to cancel the order and this manager who is so friendly at first told us that they will charge us 25% due to stocking fee??? the furniture is not in their warehouse yet and they want to charge us a stocking fee???we are cancelling not because we don't want the furniture, we are cancelling because we cant wait anymore as we need it badly. numerous call has been made to update us on the situation and this manager never called us, we even went to the store and suddenly this manager seems like he never see me before. as a customer we should be protected to this kind of people who are so called in business service that all along is that they just want our money. i will never ever shop to this store anymore. as for you who are still considering buying to ashley furniture especially at the west end at stoney plain make sure that if something happens you know what to do...contact bbb immediately!!! you've been warned!!! if similar things like this happens to you my advise is to contact better business bureau immediately!!! they wont hesitate to return your money back!!! you've been advised!!!
