Quick, inexpensive and oishi!
This is our favorite restaurant to go to in Kamloops when we want dependably good food and service. We always order the Couple's Special Sushi, probably should order something else, but it is so good and so beautifully presented. The staff is always friendly and very very helpful. It can be crowded on wknds, so go during the week and enjoy a wonderful authentic Japanese meal. I've eaten in Japan about a thousand times (literally) and this feels like I'm sitting right in downtown Narita!

I have dined here several times and almost always have a pleasant experience. Occasionally service is slow but often the restaurant is full. I like that I can see the sushi chef from my table. The maki is very good; I find some of the hot dishes (such as teriyaki) to be too salty.

Enjoyed our Meal
We ordered the Bulgogi (grilled marinated beef with vegetables and it came with white rice) from their special menu, Bento A (8 pc California Rolls, Avocado Salad, Chicken Teriyaki, 2 vegetable and 2 prawn tempura, Rice and Miso Soup) and Philadelphia Rolls (cream cheese, salmon, tempura crunchies).
we found the Miso Soup to be very tasty, the grilled beef in the bulgogi was tough, the avocado salad didn’t look appetizing and didn’t taste any better, the tempura was quite good, the sushi rolls weren’t bad and the chicken teriyaki was just average. The complimentary oranges for dessert were very much appreciated.

May 08, 2014Long time customer service has always been poor but lately food quality has taken turn to poor management friendly but... quit comimg for a month and returned today food better but half order forgotten. .. no excuse get better staff

Great Food
May 05, 2014Great Japanese food. I usually have the gyoza, tempura, yakisoba. Both chicken and beef are good. Service could be better, each time we go it takes about 30 minutes to have our plates cleared and receive our receipt. Since the food is good we keep going back!
