OK firstly there is no more "Aria" ... it is now the "Telus Theatre" ... but there is a section of it which is still open as a stylin' lounge-club ... "La Mouche" www.lamouche.ca.  Somehow we got bottle service for 1/2 price knowing one of the promoters, always nice.  The extra good news is that they serve up 40s and not 26ers.  Reg price was like $190, but we pd $100 ... so maybe a good... plus

Another great Montreal afterhours that rocks way past daylight.Let me just start by saying that I really love the afterhours scene that I remember in Montreal; one of the intensely wonderful scenes to dive into.  Such beautiful people, and a great energy: love it!  A much more diverse array of music going on at Aria than Stereo, and loved to hear some Techno rather than house while in Montreal.... plus

Aria was the stuff of legend.  World class bookings.  Montreal crowd.  Padded dancefloor.  Lights show up from the dancefloor.  Six deck DJ booth.  Moving lights on trusses.  VJs.  Long hours.  Very long hours.  It was a place which brought out the best in many a of my favorite DJ.  Aria was scoffed at by Sona (RIP) faithful and Stereoheads (RIP Stereo.)  But this Yank loved it.  I once called... plus
