This is a place I'll never forget, but probably for the wrong reasons. It's too much! The garlic idea is neat, but they need to scale it back to make it actually enjoyable too.
I knew what to expect when I came here, but I didn't know how MUCH to expect. Too overwhelming.
A novel idea, putting garlic in everything, but I could hardly finish my meal. By the end it's just too much! Small restaurant too, you'll be having a conversation with the table next to you whether you want to or not!
Enjoyed a very tasty meal at Antonio's Garlic Glove Restaurant on 4th Street. I had the Linguini Pescato with lots of seafood including many mussels. Food was great, service was excellent. the only thing i'd do different is steer clear of the Garlic Beer. The novelty of it wears off after 2 sips. That leaves something to be desired...like a real beer!
I was just suprised that there was no caesar salad on the menu...I was looking forward to it. Also, my husband's chicken parmasan dish was a small portion that left him hungry afterwards. The bread and garlic dip on the tables was amazing. Definately worth trying out.
If you enjoy the robust flavor of garlic, check out the signature dish of a restaurant famed for its indulgence in the healthy herb. It's marinated, saturated, garnished and sauced with garlic, sure to overpower even the strongest breath-freshener. The tidy and welcoming Antonio's Garlic Clove restaurant is outfitted in a traditional Italian style, with antique wine bottles intertwined among... more
