Capitalizing on the novelty of the elements that fill the room, the lounge offers a wacky setting for the cocktail circuit in which to play. Those familiar with Ciao Edie next door, or Airport Lounge across the street, will find Sweeney’s propensity to primary day-glo colours, retro furniture and mod lighting fixtures familiar. This palce has a ton of pool tables and great dancing. It's huge and there are lots of places to sit so you aren't left standing around if you don't want to be. Beware it gets jammed on weekend so get there early!
Lots of Pool tables and some great dance music being pumped out by different resident DJ's nightly. They have a great dance floor and lots of seating...a perfect place to gather all your friends together and have a little something for everyone..The drinks are reasonably priced too.
There's often hip hop and DJ shows happening here but if you're not into that they do have some nice tables in the back. It's not too expensive and it has an interesting modern decor. It's been pretty dead on the weeknights that I've gone but that's what I want from a pool hall.
College Street twentysomethings looking for a "chill night" and "comfortable" atmospherics venture into this "laid-back basement" bar and billiards hall to "chat, play pool, listen to tunes" and put back "reasonably priced" pints poured by the "courteous" staff; weekly club nights get a little louder, so check the calendar on their website.
Went clubbing with two girlfriends of mine on their particular gay/lesbian night hosted by Cherry Bomb. We got there around 10:30, and it was already getting pretty busy. We paid $5 to get in and got stamps so we could re-enter, and coat check was $2.

We continued drinking...

This place isn't really a 3 but not really a 2, it's more a 2.5/5.
A few friends and I went here last Saturday for my friend's 23rd birthday. We've never heard of this place until we got invited to our friend's birthday so we didn't really know what to expect.
We got there around 11:45 and there wasn't a line-up which was a benefit for us because it was freezing outside. Cover is $5 before...

Saturday Night - Hmm I think I really need to go here again before I can decide if I'm in or out on really liking this place. At the moment I am on the fence. So the decor, I like. I remember the drinks being average price about $6 or so. Cover charge was reasonable too.
The crowd: mostly students...which meant I repeatedly got asked what I was studying/where I went to school. Fairly quiet...

With bright red pool tables, a swanky crowd and soul music playing in the background, Andy Pool Hall is a cool hangout. The décor of this pool parlor is a tribute to the 1960s modernism. With bright colors like purple, green, black and white splashed all over, this hip underground pool place is a great place to be in, if you want to have fun.
