Italian done the right way!

We have been eating at Alioli on and off for about 4 years, always a sure bet to leave satisfied. My In-Laws are big 'Foodies' they too enjoy going to Alioli. The menu is diverse enough to cater all the taste buds.

A cozy Italian place. Just a bit loud to feel like family. Prosciutto was wrapped with cheese and grilled. Calamari was also grilled, not deep fried. This really reminded me the trip to Rome several years ago.

I got Mushroom Risotto and it came with the expected wonder aroma. The rice could be a bit more al dante, but that's really a personal preference.

We got the local wine (cab) and it was... more

Went here for the first time because Ruth Chris Mississauga was closed.
Excellent greeting, wine and food was very fresh and good. Lunch for 2 with wine was $130 which was reasonable for what we ordered.
Veal was good but not perfect, possibly pre-cooked for the lunch crowd otherwise 5 stars.
I would go again.

Excellent food and service. I came here last week with my parents and was happy. I enjoyed my lamb, kale salad and plenty of good wine. The place is rather festive in the evenings so do keep that in mind when you make a reservation. Will be back when in town.

The name is a hybrid of the Italian words for garlic (aglio) and olive oil (olio). Choose from creative pasta dishes, risotto, rack of lamb, veal scaloppini, duo of sea scallops and tiger shrimps. Pizzas on the menu, too. Live entertainment Fri. & Sat night. Lunch Mon.-Fri., dinner Mon.-Sat. Smart casual. Entrees: $13-$32. AE, DC, MC, V.

The restaurant’s name is taken from two essential ingredients in Italian cooking, garlic (aglio) and olive oil (olio). Alioli offers a wide selection of pasta, seafood, pizza and appetizers or antipasti. The food and ambiance at this Italian restaurant are reflective of the relaxed atmosphere of southern Italy.
