OK for simple meal even if menu is attractive

A Friday night, we had made a reservation for 4 on the terrace. Alex H offers a nice menu; it is really interesting.
However, when served, meals were far from being cooked to what is expected for scampi's and meat. Scampi's were put to heat for too long; pasta were too cooked as well. Service was OK as the two...

On last night's return visit to Alex H, we reserved a table for 6 and very pleasantly surprised to be able to dine outside. It is a BYOB so that was a plus.
But disappointment followed:
service was abominable - very slow and non-communicative;
the bread service came much too late and we were told by our totally overworked waitress,...

13 décembre 2013I reserved a table for 6, midweek. for Saturday night and I had asked if I could bring in my own birthday cake- Alek H went above and beyond to accommodate me and my party. The 2 waitstaff were wonderful. Friendly, polite and so helpful with menu options. Our group chose duck($26) veal liver($24) and Salmon($24). Each main dish comes... plus
