This museum takes us back to World War II with displays and actual photos of the men and women who served our county. Great place for children to see and learn
This place is run by volunteers, and it shows. There are some beautifully restored aircraft spanning the whole history of aviation, which will delight real enthusiasts. Part of the museum was closed due renovation. It is good hangout if you want to bring along kids. It is funded by the ticket sale and private contributions, and it shows the struggle to survive.
Our aviation history as The Gateway to the North comes alive with more than 30 aircraft on display, 40-plus display cabinets and exhibits, an aircraft restoration area, personal artifacts of famous pilots, a gift shop, and more. Among the lovingly restored aircraft on display at this museum are a Fairchild 71C, a McDonnell CF-101B, and a de Havilland Mk.B35 Mosquito.
