They do NOT honour their WARRANTY

Airway Systems Ltd installed a brand new system in my new house in October of 2011. The air conditioner was used approximately 6 times before it began to malfunction. After many phone calls, they sent a technician over who informed me that the air filter was 'blocked' with dust and that was the cause of the malfunction and that this 'blockage' has VOIDED the warranty. The air filter still allowed light to pass through it so I don't see how air couldn't either. Anyway, I changed the filter and the unit kept malfunctioning. I had an independent 3rd party (AtlasCare) inspect the system. Their findings were that there was a leak in the evaporator coil, "likely a manufacturing defect or poor weld/install". I informed Airway Systems of this and they said they have "washed their hands of it." AtlasCare begrudgingly ordered the replacement evaporator coil and installed it for 4500.00$. FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS it cost me to repair my nine month old system because Airway Systems said that a "blocked air filter has voided my warranty." If you choose Airway Systems Ltd then beware, you have no recourse should your system break down as a result of their faulty installation.
