Each of my family members has a different security provider and ADT is by far and away the worst - they make you sign a 3 year contract without telling you that if you ever want to cancel then you have to pay 75% of the total 3 year bill - they have horrendous customer service takes over a month to get someone to come out and fix any problem that you may have - takes up to an hour to get... more

Terrible service, over priced, lack of knowledge, will put you on hold for more than 25 minutes to connect! Consider local company, PLEASE do not use ADT Security! Not worth it.

Do not sign a 3year contract with ADT.
I installed ADT in 2012, but the equipment and wiring was already in the house, they just had to connect it to their monitoring system. When I moved homes after a year, they wanted me to take the contract to my new home or sell it to the new tenants, but in that case, I'd have to renew it for another 3 years.
