Fantastic instruction, great price, great location
I've been in the martial arts for about four years now and ZombieProof Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts has easily been my favorite. The school is located in downtown Sydney, right beside Center 200, making it ultra convenient to reach. The prices are excellent given that you can go in and train seven days a week. Instruction ranges from martial arts disciplines like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo to conditioning programs like the MMA Cardio Bootcamp. Speaking personally, I've lost quite a bit of weight under the program.
The instructors are all very professional, able to give helpful and clear instructions when you're having trouble with them. Instructors range from black belts in their respective arts, to high level wrestling coaches to undefeated MMA fighters. More than that, the place manages to foster a great team atmosphere that rewards improvement while also giving you realistic feedback and helping you reach your goals.
I highly advise anyone interested in the Martial Arts to contact head instructor Kent Peters to try a class. I don't hesitate to give the place 5 stars. It's a great combination of fantastic instruction, schedule flexibility and a great team atmosphere that's hard to find anywhere else.
Excellent instruction improved game
I've been to a few martial arts gyms and I only started to see real improvement in my game when I started going to ZombieProof Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Kent Peters brings out the best game in each of his fighters. The club mentality is the best for training- we are all working at making each other the best at what we do. Great training, great atmosphere, and if you put the work in you're coming out of there a fighter.
