Chef-owner Yuji Otsuka takes a playful approach to Japanese cuisine, mixing Japanese sensibilities with western ingredients and techniques. Corn flake-crusted prawn karaage, served with spicy sesame mayo for dipping, is a crunchy delight. Could have eaten there every night
September 13, 2010Yuji's is a westernised japanese "tapas" bar doing westernised versions of sushi. I had several types of sushi, including proscuitto and cream cheese, a main of black sable fish and finished with black sesame seed icecream with a bottomless pot of green tea - they just kept refilling it and I wasn't charged for more than one cup (about CA$1)... more
