October 19, 2011I have been a stylist for 12 years and i am still loving the industry and all of my clients that have been with me for years. My background is in the arts. I went to Alberta College of Art and Design and got my BFA. I show and sell my paintings through the salon as well. I love the artistic and visual elements of hairstyling and owning a business.

I love my new hair cut and color!
i had a great time getting my hair done at Ymay hair Studio. the stylist listened to what i wanted and gave me what i wanted. the salon is super cute and had really good music. i would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an interesting and pleasant experience. the prices where good to for what i got.

Owner Rachelle says her salon is "independent, like you" and that seems accurate. Customers tend to want something a little different. Hair tatooing is one of the specialties. I like getting a good, stylish cut with pertinent advice and information about my hair and its care. A rare and valuable experience.
