Nice stop before or after walk to the beach!
I stumbled upon this place when I first moved to Victoria a few years ago and it's been love ever since. The Fish and Chips are great but what I love most is their Neptune Burger - salmon burger with a side of yam fries!
It's not gourmet food but it's good food!

The fish and chips have not changed in quality. We only order to take away. We went to the beach to eat.
it is getting pricey though if you want the good fish (halibut).

Willows Galley is terrific: great location, great soft ice cream (stop calling it "softSERVE" iced cream, that's silly) and great fries. The fish is good too.
Walk down Beach drive, leave your car in Detroit. Walk along Willows beach, it's spectacular. Walk up through Estevan Village (stop at Citizen clothing and the toy store BEFORE you get all greazzy from...

Never Disappoints
August 31, 2013Every time I visit Victoria I visit Willows Galley. I'm always pleased with the food. This is the only place I've ever enjoyed coleslaw and the tartar sauce is to die for. The fish is always cooked to perfection and the fries are delicious. Prices are great too. Excellent!

Fish and chips venues are big in Victoria, and Willow's Galley has serving up loads of the fried goodness since 1980. Since there's not much space to sit inside, get your order to go and head to the Esplanade, where you can eat by the waterside. Not feeling 'fishy'?
