Artisanal is serious business here. Organic levain breads and pastries are baked in wood-fired brick ovens. Varieties include apricot-anise, spelt, raisin-walnut, and sprouted wheat breads; for a sweet treat, try the vegan chocolate cake—Wild Fire’s decadent top seller.
I loved this little bakery. Fresh ingredients and reasonably priced for organic. I had the ginger blueberry muffin on one visit - quite delicious. I loved that it wasn't overly sweetened, nor had an overload of butter or oil like so many muffins. Another visit I had the quinoa salad. Tasteless goods at a steep price. I have tried several breads and cookies/pastries and have been entirely underwhelmed. In addition, the establishment harbours poor service and unprofessional ownership. I have been here at least 4 times in repeated attempts at a positive experience to no avail. Do yourself a favour and take your well-earned money to another bakery.
We heard such good things about this place that we were so excited to try it. To start off, this is really a bakery, but we were told we could get good sandwiches and small meals here.
