This place is a Whistler institution. They make decent beer, the tap room is quite large, and it tends to be full of the tourist crowd. It's worth a stop if you have the time and inclination.

There is a lot of good beer in the Vancouver area and Whistler is some of the best. Plenty of styles to try, a decent amount of seating, and how can you go wrong with a brewery nestled into the mountains.

We come here from California twice each year for their seasonal brews. We can't get enough Chestnut Ale (nutty and smooth) in the Fall, and the summer Grapefruit Ale is so citrusy and refreshing! The food prepared here is excellent, especially the meats braised in the beer like the pulled pork braised in Honey Bear Paw Lager.
