Among the dozens of historic flying treasures at the Western Canada Aviation Museum is Canada's first helicopter, designed and test flown between 1935 and 1939. There's also a plane-flight simulator, and the Spaceways exhibit, which includes a space-flight simulator, is a great kid's favorite. Learn about Canada's aviation history. This museum is located in a hangar at Winnipeg International Airport. Several interactive exhibits recreate trips into the wild blue yonder and into outer space.
