many concerns
I recently brought my TV here to be repaired. He gave me a price range and told me the part would be in the next day. When I called he said the part was not in and to call the next day and gave me a price range. This went on for about a week-10 days where I would call and he would put me off to the next day. I finally asked for my TV back and he then said he had what he needed but the price was higher that the original amount. He said it was not worth it to fix the TV and he offered to recycle it for me and sell me a "better" TV. I insisted on getting my TV back. He then went back and forth between reducing the price to repair it and offering to keep my TV as it was junk. I was finally able to find him at the store to get it back. I ended up taking it to a great place in Langley and it was repaired in a short amount of time and for less money.
Unethical and dishonest :(
I was very disappointed with the service I received from West Coast TV repairs. I was initially convinced over the phone by the owner that it would be a great idea to have my television repaired as it would be done at a low cost and within a day. Once they got a hold of my television, they kept delaying day after day, telling me the parts are on order. Approximately one month after they had taken my 50" plasma television. I was told that the TV is garbage and irreparable so they will do me a favour and throw it out for me. I told them that I want my television back. I am still waiting to get the TV back as the business owner is never at the shop because it's a "mobile" business. I had requested that the TV be delivered to my residence but I was told that it would be a waste of time and gas for the business. I have my suspicions as to what has happened but I am waiting to get my television back before contacting authorities and taking civil action. I can only assume that the 5 star ratings and the few overwhelmingly positive comments could only have been made by the business owner or his friends.
Excellent Service
I heard about westcoast tv through a family friend and I was very pleased with the service i received from West Coast TV. Will do business with them again .
