Horrible Service

I have had my vehicle serviced at West Coast Ford for some time now, with successful results. Unfortunately that has now come to an end with my most recent service.

I had my vehicle booked for a transfer case reseal. On the day of my appointment, they notified me an hour after my arrival that they forgot to order the parts. I had no choice but to reschedule for another day. On the following appointment, I was told that an additional part had to be ordered. I was understanding in the matter but I was also promised a completion date of the next day. The following day I received a call notifying me that the part that was ordered was incorrect and that I would not have my vehicle complete for another 4 days. So, 4 days later and basically a week after my original schedule, my vehicle was complete. After picking up my vehicle, I inspected the transfer case in my driveway only to find that it was still leaking. I notified my service advisor and brought the vehicle back to dealership several days later. I was told that the rear transfer case cover is cracked. This is unacceptable to me as I seen their technician place my transfer case on the bare shop floor during the removal process without anything soft to protect it. How can a Red Seal accredited technician remove and reinstall a transfer case without noticing the housing is cracked? During the fill process it would have leaked through the crack, and knowing that the technician missed this is not inspiring confidence in the service department. An overall lack of proper organization, communication and quality workmanship is what this service department stands for. Anyone who has willing to bring their vehicle in for servicing or repair at this service department is gambling with their time, money, effort and trust. A transfer case reseal job quoted 6 hours but took a full week to complete and in the end, it still wasn't completed and I received no apologies, no compensation and nothing in return other than disappointment and frustration. Do not trust this service department and do not bring your business to this dealership. Confidence, trust, quality and integrity are aspects that customers expect with any business and at this dealership customers are left with nothing.
