First of all this is not MEC, but the nutrition is priced the same. This is good, very helpful with advice and minor tweaks. Too much emphasis on fixies but I guess they know the market...staff are eager to please and great for a neighbourhood shop.

I was a little nervous about buying a bike as I haven't cycled in a few years. I actually first tried the bikes cycling inside the store. It felt silly but it was enough to remind me how I loved cycling. I did then try them outside. The service was so helpful and patient that I bought a bike and am now cycling to work and loving it.

They exceeded my expectations.
Little things were noticed and fixed. Example, my handlebar grips were corrected to the right spot. Also I had two holes left from a removed bottle holder and they put bolts to cover the holes. (Better than the duct tape I had on it prior)
Very helpful and friendly staff.
