OMG!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this library!  When I was studying for my CSC I would go here and just immerse myself in my studies.  Now if you are on one of the lower floors it can be a bit noisy so you really should go to floor 5 and up to study.Recently I started doing some family history research and since they have a lot of the BC Archive micro film it was the place to go.  I spent a good 6... more

You can tell a lot about a city from their libraries.A city whose libraries are largely ignored is a city that is in danger. If you enter a library and see that it is mostly made up of a) homeless people or b) those suffering from mental illnesess.. then yes, that city is in danger. A library is a great place to spend hours when you don't have a home.. but they offer so much more citizens, so... more
