Organized
This is a very organized discount store. Its easy to see things well laid out.
Worth checking here first
First let me make two complaints - one is the aroma of the place which I suspect is eau de mothball, unavoidable but not appealing. Second, I really don't like being anywhere near here for the weeks before Halloween. It turns into a very different place, largely an overcrowded outlet store for the People's Republic of China. But for the rest of the year, breathing through my mouth, I come by often to check for clothes items and odds and ends before I have to go and buy the new versions. It's a bit tawdry and they really could afford to fix their once-automatic doors, but it's a socially and environmentally friendly place to save.
Good Costume Place
I like to shop at Value Village whenever I need something unusual, such as a Hallowe'en costume or an outfit from another time period. It takes time to browse here, but it's worth it.
