Tim Horton's has the best coffee as most locals will tell you. This location has great staff and has Wi-Fi so you can connect your laptop and enjoy a great cup of coffee or lunch while you surf! Always got time for Tim Horton's!!

“Fair Trade but at a cost”

Fair Trade cafe is a great alternative to the Tim Horton's Franchise. It has great live music, and a wide selection of fresh home baked goods. Wonderful service and a fun, upbeat atmosphere are awaiting you at the Fair Trade Cafe! Expensive is the only downside!

“Great food and Price!”

China Rose Cafe
This is my fav Chinese restaurant in Truro! It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff! The food is A-one and I've never had a bad meal there. We always choose Ho-Ho Wok or China Rose when my family eats Chinese. Highly recommend it for tourists or locals!

Great place to take your dogs! Very friendly staff and excellent customer care! They care about your pet and your satisfaction. Never a bad experience there, and I would say take your pet if you want a good service and a clean happy pet!

McDonald's is well known. You either love it or you hate it. Great coffee and good food, although greasy and heavy at times. Great kid's Playroom and family friendly!

“Mingo's Music”

Mingo Music
Mingo's Music has been in business for wuite some time. They have some helpful staff, but have limited space and products. I suggest if you need strings, capos, bows, etc Mingo's is a great choice and local. But for major purchases and financing, I have to reccomend Long & McQuaid in Halifax NS. Mingo's has a great collection of guitars and amps, but limited percussion and strings sections, but overall a great local business to have in our lovely town!
