Well it's a little hard to rate an entire university in a brief review. I can tell you that as a place just to amble about, it's intriguingly designed with all the buildings (except the homes of the poor students) connected by corridors and tunnels which is good because it's cold up on the hill. Although it's real difficult to compare UNBC to other small universities, it usually does well in cross-country rankings such as McGill's.
This is Canada's best small university. The profs are superb. Very hardworking and caring about the students.
This is an incredible university and we are so lucky to have it. The medical program is a real plus for the north!
UNBC does not deserve a single star because of the nasty way it treats some of its students, but this option is not available.
Best in the west among small universities for a reason.
