Great Steak

The Tulip has great food, large portions and fantastic prices.

Steaks are great and it is a super weekend breakfast place.

Great onion soup, fine chicken parm, chopped beef and steaks at reasonable prices, accompanied by home-made bread and pies. Diverse diner crowd. Good value, avoid peak time lines. A Toronto institution.

This “reliable, cheap” and “always busy” Leslieville “landmark”, open since 1929, promises “high-end steaks at low-down prices” and served in “hearty portions” (“wear your stretchy pants”); there’s “no attitude” and “no b.s.” here, so expect a “step-above-a-greasy-spoon” setting.
