I was at Tonys this week for the first time, after we needed a last minute location change for our birthday gathering. Though having seen their name in Avenue, Vue Weekly, and Tomato magazine i had high expectations going in. It's great this place takes reservations, although we didn't need them for 5PM on a weeknight. We were one of a few tables and we sat in the U shape booth for the 5 of us. We had a server who took our drink and food order. I wanted to try the pizza and take leftovers home for my husband to try. The prices are excellent here and the food is delicious! Although located in a rough area, this place is always busy. There is minimal parking in front of the restaurant but there is side parking along the street. I have been here a few times with friends and family.
The pasta comes with warm, soft buns with butter. I always wonder if they make their own buns. I had the veal tortellini most...
