I was at the Tim Horton on Welton the other day and place an order that would be confusing to most people but the women that was looking after me was extremely polite and professional. During the wait time of making the sandwiches she chatted with me and it made for a very pleasant visit, the whole time she was making sure each one was correct and places in order so it would be easy for me to distribute. Thanks, I think her name was Holly, she puts the smiley faces on the cups!!!
I've gotten excellent service here, and lousy service. Luck of the draw.
I always ask myself, though, what kind of a mood I'd be in after 8 hours behind a counter, dealing with jittery, in-a-rush coffee drinkers.
Having said that, consistency is not something I expect from Tim's. Sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's not.
Its pretty bad that when you order a drink, ie a french vanilla that it only comes half to 3/4 full. When you ask them to fill it up they give you a look as if you the customer did something wrong. It is only the Welton Street location that cannot seem to get this order right. And if you don't leave a tip, they do not say thank you for your business. We stopped going there.
