This cute little cafe is extremely popular in Canmore. It's located on a hill overlooking the bow valley. There is plentiful outdoor seating. The indoor seating is also adequate. The menus are written on chalkboards all over the counter. Lots of good breakfast choices, very healthy omelettes, etc.
We were up the Sulphur Mountain with the gondola. The Summit Cafe is beautifully perched high up enabling each visitor with a good view when seated along the window sides as well as the open deck picnic tables.
I was quite disappointed with the quality of the burgers, small few bits of veggie packs that were priced without thought. $2.50...

Great food with a Mexican flare to breakfast - hell yeah! Atmosphere is cozy and very sociable, lots of times in the early mornings you'll be seeing locals coming to get fueled up before they head out to do a big day hike, mountain climbing etc
