Good Times

The government entertainment complex is perfect for all, no matter what type of music you listen too. There are various diff rooms that play diff music and have diff vibes, not to mention the big name DJ's that come through - this is def a hotspot!!! Skybar kills it in the summer time, one of the best if not the best patio!!!!

Different..

This place is huge! Costs about $20 to get into and is a pretty young crowd. Nightclub walls into the labyrinth of seven additional world-class bar, club and lounge-style venues, including Kool Haus, D'Luxe, The Gallery, The Drink (Cathouse), The Orange Room, Tanja and the spectacular rooftop patio, Skybar.

Most people here don't seem to drink alcohol either is you know what I mean

Long "a hopping place for those who love to dance", this "big-box" club near Sugar Beach on Harbourfront's eastern edge offers a pumped-up "party atmosphere" and "multiple rooms" playing loud, diverse tunes so you "can always find a DJ to your liking"; it's "easy to get lost" amid two floors "of hot girls and music", so even if it's "expensive and really crowded", it's "so worth it."

A popular fixture on the Toronto dance club scene for almost a quarter-century now, thanks to its mandate of serving up something for just about everyone. Multiple rooms accommodate up to 3,000 club goers on always-crammed Saturday nights. Top-ranked DJs from around the world are often featured, and sounds range from house to trance, disco to hip-hop.

More of a partying megacomplex than a nightclub, this factory-size edifice near the waterfront is divided into nine different rooms. The Main Room is ground zero for the city's electronic dance music scene on Saturday nights. The slightly larger Koolhaus—not actually a separate house—hosts live acts, while local DJs keep the other rooms happening. Past musical guests include the Black Eyed... more

I'm really sad to see this place go. It's one of the best venues for DJ events unless you bring in Hardwell or anyone main stream, then it just becomes packed as hell. I love how they can bring in so many great DJs. I just hate how packed it gets and how obnoxious TRC/NEW TRC members get because they can't handle raves properly. Also, always buy in advanced because tickets get really costly. I... more

I attended the Charles Bradley concert at the Koolhaus last night and I was truly disappointed with the venue and the service I experienced. So disappointed that my friend and I left early. The main act was set to go on at 10:15pm. We arrived around 9:20pm and waited in line for over half an hour to get in. It was -10 degrees. Considering this wasn't an all night event I would have... more

If you like crowds and you're into the dance scene, then you'll feel right at home at Guvernment. This bi-level, sprawling nightclub attracts a stylish, hip, twenty-something crowd of party-goers. The Deluxe lounge offers couches, a bar and fish tanks that serve as tables. A moving walkway takes you to the Orange Room, with very modern interiors and a funky look. Last but not least, check out... more
