Great greasy spoon& breakfast place

Awesome. Love the bold art on the outside of this building. Food served is eggs and pancakes & other breakfast offerings, milk shakes. Great place for breakfast & brunch. Only downside is it's on Richmond which only runs westbound. Find side street parking.

Cute old Diner
July 10, 2014

Stopped in for a quick lunch while in Toronto and picked this place as it looked like an old school diner. The menu is a step up, with home made ice tea, and daily specials including interesting soups, a vegi thai dish, and a burrito plate. We had the burrito plate which was very tasty with a bit of heat.... more

Toronto is filled with cute little diners that serve wholesome hearty meals to diners at reasonable rates and with lots of love. The George Street Diner, also lovingly called as the little red diner is a part of that proud tradition. The interior is clean and understated, with shiny red booth style couches arranged along the window, and bar-stools lining the counter. Their homemade jam adds... more
