This popular and scenic bar and grill is perched on pilings over the Fraser River, originally as a place to get a bite while waiting for seaplane flights to points more remote. Located beneath the flyway of Vancouver International, the Beaver offers nonflyers great views of incoming jets, along with views of mountains, bush planes, and river craft -- and truly fine brewpub beer.
I love the Flying Beaver! Food is your regular pub fare, not bad at all, drink specials are pretty standard as well, what makes this place stand out is the location with a wonderful view, and service is amazing, even when it's super busy, which is often.

They also have a live DJ that plays around 9:30pm.
I got their poutine which came with your choice...

Cocktails, bottled beers, hard cider and a few wines can also be had. Plus, the... more
