The service is great, the food is amazing!
Try the coconut shrimp. Enough said!!!
Fish is tricky to cook so it's refreshing to have the option of going to a place that advertises this as their specialty. Ambiance is a more relaxed and casual than the typical franchises like Milestones and Jack Astors or the rushed dining experience provided in most chinese restaurants. Meal was okay and just squeaked by for acceptable. Go for the grouper fingers & coconut shrimp but skip the clam chowder. Salmon and veggies were over cooked and rice was tasteless/overcooked. The salmon was screaming for a sauce of some sort to make it more palatable. General feel was that no love went into cooking this meal. For what we paid, better value and taste could be found elsewhere.
DISHES TRIED: Big Catch (coconut shrimp, clam chowder, sole with lobster brandy sauce, grilled salmon & stuffed shrimp, crusted grouper), grouper fingers, Fish Platter, coffee,
PRICE: $35 pp incl. tax, tip (Service was good so we tipped decently)

Went there with my girlfriend on January 4, 2014 to find the restaurant closed. We went without reservations. When you call their phone number, it is no longer in service.
Too bad - as we enjoyed having the fish there although the decor was not up to par...

We went to The Fish House for a business meal and while it was okay, I would not recommend this restaurant for a business dinner or for a special occasion. The restaurant is large and a bit noisy but the biggest issue was the décor, which was simple and had a cheap, informal feel. The clam chowder was more like... more
Went for dinner on December 11, 2013. Large dining area that seats 300 albeit a bit worn and aged but still very comfortable. Ali, our server, was very prompt and attentive and made suggestions from the menu. I had the Nut Tilapia ($16.99), a large piece of fish coated in macadamia nut and pan fried with potatoes and vegetable. My... more
