the food here is mediocre at best. nothing inspired, but it's not actually bad. just mediocre. not a bad place for kids, since their kids menu is about as good as anywhere else, and cheap.
With the temperature already in the 20s and the mercury expected to rise into record-breaking territory later in the day, it was decided this week's brunch would best be enjoyed in an outdoor, patio setting.

I went yesterday with a party of 7: 4 adults and 3 kids.
Our food order was basic: 3 kids meals, 2 salads, one beef dip and one jambalaya rice bowl. We waited 55 minutes for these items and 3 wrong kids meal sides and no salad dressing.
Unacceptable.
Food was palatable.
Atmosphere was average, in need of refreshing.

We went to the cheesecake cafe several years ago for dinner and weren't impressed but decided to give it another try for breakfast. It was not a good experience. Dissappointed in the quality of lettuce used in the salad, it has pieces that were brown and withered..the Montreal Smoked meat tasted abit off..not our favorite this time round.
My husband and some friends of mine went to the location in Sunridge and I was discusted. Sitting near the kitchen, watching the "chefs" putting their fingers in the food to make sure it was hot enough to be served,then watching the plate leave the kitchen, seeing another have a gause bandage on his finger being held with tape that was starting to ravel off and dangeling in food, and noticing... more
