Ventured over on Sunday for a patio brunch and lucked out with a nice shaded area. Our server was sweet and prompt. It was a hot morning, so greeted us with a giant jug of water and then brought over some much needed water.
I like to enjoy a little savory and sweet, so my boo and I ordered the French toast and salmon eggs benedict. They were well priced, well portioned and delicious.

Had a gift certificate to The Blake House and chose to use it for brunch. I know it sounds mean, but I really was expecting average food from The Blake House - not sure why. But wow, portions were great, prices reasonable (under $16), but more importantly, the food was delicious! Living in the area means I can often enjoy the service and great food at The Blake. The House is a beautifully renovated historical home, with one of the best three season patios around. I have my favorite menus items, Fish and Chips, Chicken Wings and an amazing burger with their own applewood smoked bacon, but everything looks so appealing.
