Assertively charming service, delicious, heaping portions, a pocket-friendly price point, and local, organic ingredients make this one of Vancouver's premier retro diners. The BBB burger ($14.50) is done properly: the kitchen isn't afraid to show a little pink in the organic ground beef and its served with your choice of chunky crispy fries, soup, salad, or garlic mashed potatoes. True, the booths, stools, and working jukeboxes are pure '50s, but the handmade turkey sausage, free-range eggs, and rosemary potatoes are perfectly contemporary. The Templeton is an affordable place where you can enjoy traditional breakfast features while listening to the music of your choice through a jukebox. This relaxed atmosphere allows you to sit back, unwind... more

This classic diner serves nostalgic comfort food. Plug a quarter in the jukebox and enjoy free-range eggs and organic bacon for breakfast or catch a movie on the big screen and dig into a gourmet burger and milkshake for dinner. $. B/L/D (daily).

The Templeton is exactly how you would imagine an old school diner to be; vinyl chairs, milkshake mixers, a juke box and hearty breakfasts to fill that morning void in your stomach. It's a cozy space right on the Granville Street strip and they use free-range eggs in their kitchen. The price of each dish is a bang for your buck, considering the quality ingredients they use. Another great thing... more
