Decided to try this place tonight for the first time, the food was amazing, the server was very friendly and the service was really quick. I had the fettucine and others had pizza, caprese salad, a few other pasta dishes and panna cotta for dessert. All of us were sharing and it was all delicious and very fresh.

I used to go to Taverna all the time in my childhood. When I moved back to the city 5 years ago it was one of the places I went to, for nostalgia if nothing else. Had an excellent lunch here...the two reasons to go here are the house-made gnocchi, which was superior to almost any I've ever had...and our charming and gracious waiter, Louie...a gem of a guy who made us feel very welcome.
