Disappointing
Maybe it was being seated 45 minutes after our reservation, or maybe it was getting our main dishes an hour after ordering or maybe it was asking for the bill only to have the server come over to see if we wanted dessert 20 minutes later! We had to beg for the bill to leave. The owner came over to ask how the evening was and when we tried to tell him he got mad! Why ask if you don't want to hear the answer! The food was bland and overpriced. There are too many good restaurants in this city for patrons to be treated like this. Don't bother with this restaurant.

A little piece of Italy in Distillery District
March 13, 2013My boyfriend and I recently went to Tappo for his birthday dinner. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It felt a bit like we were in Italy. The food was amazing! Also, the service was exceptional. I will be definately going back to this restaurant in the near future.
