I had the grilled octopus, the fries, the beef tartar, and others, but those three are worth mentioning. Delicious. The staff is also very friendly. Try to get the big shared table right next to the kitchen, good experience.
Best tapas in mtl! Everything is great there....everything, I just love the place!
This tiny tapas joint, in the out-of-the-way Villeray neighborhood, is a food-lover's dream—the place where locals bring out-of-town friends to impress them (and Gourmet editor-in-chief Ruth Reichl's favorite restaurant in the city). Love the experience, we sat at the bar for we made a last minute early reservation, however our waiter took very good care of us from explaining the tapas of the month, wine suggestion (after they were sold out of our choice!) and service was exceptional. I had not been since several years and was happy to see that it... more
It's not your place for traditional tapas. While the food is ok, try not to compare to Spain's tapa bars. Wide selection geared to making tapas a meal. Wine list is mainly Spanish and thus limited in many ways. The place is crowded and very noisy. Does not help that they add music which drowns out any conversation that you... more
Six of us went for dinner and we all left saying we should come back more often! We let the very nice waiter choose for us, everything was excellent! We especially loved the crunchy beef tartare! The atmosphere was very lively but not too noisy, so we still could enjoy our evening!
Stylish space for refined Spanish small plates & fine wines, with bar seating & a chef’s table.
You can taste one of the best tapas in Tapeo, a Spanish restaurant in Montreal. Head Chef Marie-Fleur St. Pierre prepares a variety of Spanish dishes giving it a very authentic taste. A wide collection of Spanish wines compliment the food, making it more delicious. The restaurant is very well designed with the bar made of wood and tables adjoining it making it look very different.
