Table 17, located in the heart of Riverside/Leslieville, is a fun casual neighbourhood wine bar and bistro. With an ever-changing seasonal menu, inspired by local ingredients and European preparation techniques, Table 17 is a great option for those that live and those from outside the area that are looking for an inspired meal at an honest price.

Table 17 is a new spot in Riverside that is already packed almost every night of the week. The restaurant is divided into two rooms and features huge mirrors, chalk board wine menus, stunning chandeliers and great food. Make sure to order a side of the fresh cut fries.Photos by corfu on Flickr

Table 17 has been launched by the successful team of executive chef Erik Joyal, partner John Sinopoli (formerly of Toronto's Izakaya), and added partner John Dawson. They've masterfully combined the cuisines of France, Italy and Spain to bring the folks of Toronto a blend of local ingredients prepared in a continental style. The menu is small but changes on account of availability, the season... more
Table 17 feels like your familiar, comfortable local bistro, but the food is worth driving across town for. Located in Toronto's funky Leslieville neighbourhood, the restaurant has a country farmhouse vibe with wood-paneled walls and a large harvest table cutting through one of the dining rooms. Chef John Sinopoli has cooked everything from Japanese food to classic French and Italian throughout... more
