Table 17 is a new spot in Riverside that is already packed almost every night of the week. The restaurant is divided into two rooms and features huge mirrors, chalk board wine menus, stunning chandeliers and great food. Make sure to order a side of the fresh cut fries.Photos by corfu on Flickr

Visited on a special occasion and found parking directly in front of the restaurant - the service was excellent and the waitress reminded us of Christina Ricci - she was pleasant and very nice. The food was delicious and the wait time was minimal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if Italian fare is your choice.

The food was not bad tasting, but the portions are sized for infants. The service was just OK. The other reviews seem a little over the top: ... Hotballs? no thanks. The service was NOT excellent. This place did NOT have a cosy feeling. I don't thank my cell phone carrier for anything. No, $32 for pea sized plate of food is NOT a phenomenal deal. Best Bistro in the city??? i think not.

Leslieville is a go-to place to nosh, not only for the locals but for those now making a point to travel across the bridge for good eats. Table 17 is run by the now-shuttered Izakaya team -- including chef and part-owner John Sinopoli. Offering dinner and brunch on weekends, the bistro has a fairly short, well-priced menu of French, Italian and Spanish offerings and no gimmicky concepts. Look... more
