December 11, 2011The Sushi was better than average for sure but the service was the slowest I've ever seen. We waited at the front while staff walked past us until one finally grabbed some menus and invited us in. great look and service but dismal food
October 14, 2011my wife and I had to try out this new restaurant in the area and we found the time earlier this evening. The whole interior was cute, especially our wiatress who my wife described was like a little japanese doll. She friendly greeted us and sat us down. She was qiuck and prompt in taking our orders. I went here with some friends...we had a $200 dinner...we asked for extra ponzu sauce and the waitress told me she was going to charge me extra...NEVER AGAIN...worst service EVER!!!

With the OUTSTANDIND Towa Sushi now open 2 doors north of Sushi Kawa, one can only hope that Kawa either gets its act together or closes to allow for a bit more diversity on 4 St. Kawa is overpriced and bland- there are so many good sushi places in town now.
