Sushi presented on boats passing by for your eating pleasure. Fish is always fresh, especially the white tuna. Salmon is typically very good too. Unfortunately, they've forgotten how to make good sushi rice. Another "fault" if any, is that you have to take 2 nigiri sushi at a time, which means you get less variety unless you are really hungry! Prices are in the moderate range.
They have fresh fish here and really good rice, and those are two important qualities for me when picking a sushi place. They also do good take-out so you can get it that much more often. :)
There are a lot of sushi places, so saying this is my favourite is a big deal. They have fresh fish, good rice, and good prices. It's worth it to know that orders come with 2 pieces, so if you're comparing prices against other places that's something to keep in mind. You can sit on the boat line and pick your order right off the boats that are swimming along, which makes it really fun for kids too. Take-out (no delivery?) is a smooth operation too.
Fantastic place! We had a boat load...make that 5 boat loads of sushi at this place, and had a great time! The food was great, and the experience was just as good. Every one that I have taken here has loved it. Great for first time sushi eaters, because you can see what looks good as it floats by.
We also changed our vote from our most recent visit. We have found in our recent visits, things have really changed. We have been going on Saturday's for lunch and have found that the boats aren't filled as much and that we have to order off the menu sheet. If our item is on a boat, it's taken from there rather than made from fresh. We've also noticed new staff. I hope they read these reviews... more
I go to sushi boat twice a week. It's cheap and not to bad in quality. Go before 6 or after 8 to avoid the crowd.
If you\'re looking for something a little bit different, check out the Sushi Boat. Instead of waiting for a server to take your order, you simply take a selection of the many different types of sushi that literally float by your table. They also offer fresh Japanese entrees that are crafted with tremendous attention to detail. The restaurant consists of large, round tables that seat 16 people,... more
