Over rated and pretencious

I receive this discount coupon from sukis for 50% off and book an appointment to attend their richmond salon. when i arrive i am one of about 9 girls waiting lined up! they are waay over booked but im patient thinking its gonna be worth it in the end. i think his name is james and he is yelling at the stylists to hurry up which gets me feeling uncomfortable. he looks a bit crossed at the girls. finally its my turn and james takes me in. the long and short of it, i had to endure his insesent gossip. i am only there for a cut and im a professional woman who doesnt much care for the small talk but is he picking up my vibe? NO! he continues on about how great a sytlist he is and i figure this guy may yet earn some redemption for his poor service. what happend? i got a cut that i clearly did not ask for nor was prepared for. i walked out of there and i will never return. james, if that is your name, sorry honey, but you dont know a thing about styling you dont listen you are lost in your own little world where you have over rated yourself. i would have spoken to your manager but i got the feeling that you are still learning and everybody needs a break time and again but then tonight i am thinking that i paid good money for a cut that i didnt order and im very angry. and btw if you dont like your wages and working conditions i suggest you start your own business but do not involve the clients with that sordid issues.

Suki Sucks

Suki is way overpriced and over rated!!! Save yourself the trouble because these so called "master stylists" don't know what they are doing.

I went to the Burrad location last summer and the guy that supposedly is the hair colour specialist ruinned my hair. I went in with dark brown hair and asked for black with a hint of plum purple. I've had this colour in my hair before so i knew it could be done. Well according to him the colour wouldn't show up unless he stripped the colour out of my hair. Well i agreed to have my hair stripped, little did i know it take 1 hour to strip it. I sat at the sink for 1hr, then he calls me to the chair and its not light enough! A second round was needed, well to make my story short, i was there for almost 4 hours and my hair came out fuschia!! im not kidding...my hair was ridicoulous!!!
After he was done blowdrying my hair, my roots were more fuschia then the rest of my colour, it was disaster that cost me $120. i had to go to work like that for a week...i work in an office!

At least he was nice enough to admit he had ruinned my hair and offered me to return so he could fix it but just avoid it....save yourselves the trouble.

WAY OVER PRICED AND OVER RATED!

I'm done with Suki's

Suki's has LOUSY customer service and they are WAY overpriced.

Yesterday, I called the South Granville location to make an appointment. The receptionist was rude, and her accent was so thick, I had trouble understanding her. She obviously did not have a very good grasp of the English language, because I had to repeat myself many times.

I attempted to make an appointment to get my roots touched up to my all-over highlights. I explained exactly what I was getting done, and asked to make an appointment to get a haircut afterward. She told me to come in at 10:45 for my highlights, and that the haircut would follow. The receptionist then asked me for my phone number, and then came up with my name. I don't know how, but she must have changed my phone number in the computer after she looked it up because when they tried to call me later on to change the appointment, they were unable to reach me.

I showed up at my appointment today on time. The receptionist, not the one from yesterday, informed me that they had tried to call me to change the appointment. I told her I never received a call, or message. She then verified my phone number with me, and we realized that the area code was wrong.

So this receptionist explained that they were unable to do my highlight appointment today because they hadn't booked enough time. She told me I could still get a cut though. I told her this wouldn't work, so she offered to make an appointment at the 1st Ave location. This was a huge pain in the a@s for me, as I do not have a car and it was raining heavily. I started walking towards the other location, but was too angry about the situation, so I just went home.

I had not been to Suki's in about a year because this happened before. Last time, the receptionist did not book enough time also. Sophia went ahead with the appointment, but rushed it. My hair turned out great, but I don't pay Suki's excessive prices to be screwed around like this. I go to Suki's because I want my hair taken care of by professionals, and I like to relax while getting it done. I will definitely not be spending any of my hard earned money at Suki's again.
