While visiting my friend in Edmonton, I decided to stop by SugarBowl for a solo breakfast since he was busy at work. I arrived around 10am on a Thursday morning and the place was comfortably full, but I managed to grab a nice sunny table by the window. The food is good, the drink menu is vast and the staff are usually friendly.

I've always been a little on the fence about SugarBowl. On one hand, I love the rustic look, the wide open windows, the great beer selection.... on the other, I hate that it's always silly busy, that it's so crowded it's hard to walk between tables (fire regulations, anybody?), and that, oftentimes, the servers are unkind.
