Nice Steaks

I am very fond of steaks and absolutely loved the ones here. I have tried the rump steak, the sirloin steak and the T-bone steak so far and all of them have been delicious. great side orders too. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant.

If you like steak, you will like Sterling. Even though it was not one of my favourites, my steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Prices could be better.

Pretty good but a few flaws

I chose a 4 course meal during my visit to Sterling. It began with a delicious creamy greens soup followed by escargot. After that was my filet which I had ordered medium. Still the best complete steak/seafood experience in Ottawa/Gatineau

Whether it's the delicious appetizers (the oysters are fantastic), or the excellent (and large) meat cuts, Sterling still offers the best all-round steak and seafood dining experience in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Sure it's pricey, but you're going to a high-end restaurant - don't expect to pay McDonald's prices. The good news is that the food and the service are worth... more

Amateur de Steak, fruit de mer et vin seront comblés!
Le sterling, une qualité digne de ce nom (Silver Sterling steak)! Situé au bord de la rivière de Gatineau, le restaurant Sterling a fait sienne une bâtisse centenaire, qui par son âge vénérable a vu toute une partie de l’histoire de Gatineau se dérouler dans ses murs. J`ai vraiment aimé ma soirée au Sterling. Je lui donnerais 4.5 car rien n`est parfait et les prix sont élevés mais comme on doit donner un chiffre rond je penche vers le 5 étant donné que c`est le seul resto en compagnie du Luxe à Ottawa qui offre la qualité de viande Sterling Silver.
